Scholarship Opportunities

2027 Visions Conference Scholarship Application

 FLDCDT is excited to offer scholarships for individuals to attend the 2027 VISIONS conference in Gainesville, Florida!

Scholarship will include:

• 1 complimentary conference registration

• Hotel accommodations for 2 nights (April 19 & 20, 2027 only)

• A travel/food stipend of up to $250 to help off-set the cost of attending

Scholarships are available in three categories: 

• Self-advocate/Family member 

• Current college student - college/graduate students studying special education and related fields

• Professional - instructional, support staff, paraprofessionals, teachers, administrators, agency/community service providers

The deadline to apply for a scholarship for the 2027 conference is November 9, 2026!

2026 FLDCDT Transition Awards

There are two ​types of awards:

1. The Dedra Husted, "Dreams Can Come True" Award

2. The Patrick Mulvihill, "Making a Difference" Award
