Call for Presentation Proposals

The call for proposals for Visions 2026 is now live! The Florida Division on Career Development and Transition invites all interested persons to submit proposals for presentations for FLDCDT Visions 2026.

Scholarship Opportunities

FLDCDT is excited to offer scholarships for individuals to attend the 2026 Visions conference! Scholarships include 1 complimentary conference registration, hotel accommodations for 2 nights (April 20 and 21, 2026 only), and a travel/food stipend of $250.​

Scholarship Application

​

Scholarships are available in three categories:

1. Self-advocate/Family member

2. Current college student - college/graduate students studying special education and related fields

3. Professional - instructional, support staff, paraprofessionals, teachers, administrators, agency/community service providers

​

2026 FLDCDT Transition Awards

It's time to make your award nominations for the 2026 VISIONS Conference! There are two types of awards available: 

 

1. The Debra Husted "Dreams Can Come True" Award nominations are being accepted in two categories: Outstanding Educator & Outstanding High School Senior or College Student. 

​

2. The Patrick Mulvihill, "Making a Difference Award", recognizes individuals, organizations, businesses, or agencies in Florida who are making a difference by supporting the successful transition of students with disabilities from high school to post-school life.
